DZero is a detector operating at the Tevatron ppbar collider. So far, I have been working on he determination of the W cross section when the W decays into a muon. I had to face different problems related to this data analysis. I was involved in the determination of the trigger efficiency, the study of the stability of our data sample and the estimation of the residual background contamination. This work is a first step towards the understanding of the background for the single top signal I propose to find out. Related to this latter topic, I performed some phenomenological studies on the calculation of the single top cross section and part of its next-to-leading order corrections.

Currently, I work in ATLAS TDAQ(Tile Cal Data Acquisition) project and contribute in development of DAQ IGUI (Integrated Graphical User Interface) and take a part in development of Tile Cal test run monitoring soft. My work also contains the offline analysis and express analysis of test run data.
Moreover, parallel to the work mentioned above Iím collaborate with the Laboratory of theoretical physics (JINR, Dubna), in the theoretical and numerical calculations for the processes followed by heavy quark-anti-quark bounded states production at the LHC energies and estimates the possibilities of observation such states in high-energy physics experiments.
