Scientific ProgrammeLecturesThere will be around 32 lectures in all, each lasting about 75 minutes, with additional time for questions and discussion. The draft timetable can be found here. The scientific programme is as follows: Field Theory and the Electro-Weak Standard Model Beyond the Standard Model Higgs Physics Neutrino Physics Cosmology Flavour Physics and CP Violation Practical Statistics for Particle Physicists Quark-Gluon Plasma and Heavy Ion Collisions QCD for Collider Experiments LHC Results - Highlights The preliminary draft timetable of the lectures is available from here Discussion SessionsThere will be discussion sessions, lasting about 75 minutes, most afternoons during the School. Students remain in the same discussion group for the duration of the School. The discussion leaders will be: Poster SessionAll students are encouraged to present and discuss their work at a poster session during the first week of the School. Student Group ProjectsThe students in each discussion group will also perform a collaborative project in which they will chose a published experimental paper and study in detail the analysis presented in it. A representative of each group will present a summary in a dedicated session towards the end of the school.
