Scientific ProgrammeLecturesThere will be around 32 lectures in all, each lasting about 75 minutes, with additional time for questions and discussion. The programme includes the following courses: Field Theory and the Electro-Weak Standard Model Electroweak Symmetry Breaking (theory versus data) QCD at Colliders Flavour Physics and CP Violation SUSY Other Physics Beyond the Standard Model Neutrino Physics Heavy-Ion Physics Practical Statistics for Particle Physicists LHC Results Highlights Cosmology The preliminary draft timetable of the lectures is available from here. Discussion SessionsThere will be discussion sessions, lasting about 75 minutes, most afternoons during the School. Students remain in the same discussion group for the duration of the School. The discussion leaders will be: Poster SessionAll students are encouraged to present and discuss their work at a poster session during the first week of the School. |
